Nelson Branco is responsible for the processing described here. You can use the email or postal address above for questions about your personal data. The Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection applies; any other mandatory data-protection rules that apply in a particular situation remain unaffected.
Visiting the website
Your browser sends technical information needed to deliver the page: your IP address, the requested address, the time of the request and browser information. Depending on your browser settings, this includes the referring page. The hosting records access and errors for operation, fault diagnosis and protection against abuse. Requested addresses can include words entered in the website’s search field.
Infomaniak’s hosting environment also provides statistics derived from server requests, such as visits and requested pages. The OnsiteTech application does not embed a separate audience-measurement service, advertising tracker, social-media widget or third-party font service.
At the date of this notice, the hosting’s rotating access-log files cover roughly one month; error-log files cover roughly one week. These are the observed hosting rotation periods, not a promise that every technical copy disappears on one exact day. The provider manages rotation and operational copies under its hosting terms.
Language, colour and browser storage
- Language: your browser’s language preference can select English or French when the address does not already specify a language. The menu lets you choose directly. No language cookie is used.
- Colour: choosing Light or Midnight sets the first-party cookie
__Host-onsitetech_viewfor up to 365 days. It contains the colour choice, not a unique visitor identifier. You can delete or block it in your browser’s site-data settings; the choice will then no longer be remembered. - Historical menu: the historical design can keep its pinned-menu preference in session storage for the current browser tab.
- Administrator access: sign-in and recovery pages use cookies for session security and protection against forged forms. Normal sign-in expires after 30 minutes of inactivity or eight hours at most; the optional remembered sign-in lasts no more than 24 hours. Other temporary browser state supports the sign-in flow and the administrator’s personal appearance preview.
Email and telephone contact
The website has no contact-submission form. If you contact OnsiteTech by email or telephone, the information you provide—such as your name, contact details and the subject of your request—is used to understand and answer you and, where appropriate, discuss the requested service.
The info@onsitetech.ch mailbox stays with Infomaniak and is not forwarded to another email provider. Messages are handled case by case: unnecessary messages are normally deleted, while some correspondence is kept to recognise a previous contact and remember the conversation if that person gets in touch again. There is no single fixed retention period for every message; retention depends on its continuing relevance. These messages are not used for marketing or unsolicited customer calls. You may ask for deletion using the contact details above.
Documents that become accounting records are a separate category from ordinary questions: Swiss law requires relevant accounting records to be retained for ten years after the end of the financial year. A request for deletion does not override a legal retention obligation or the necessary preservation of evidence for a dispute.
Hosting, recipients and location
The website and mailbox are hosted by Infomaniak Network SA, Geneva, Switzerland, using its Swiss hosting infrastructure. Infomaniak processes the hosted data to provide and secure these services. Nelson Branco has access as the operator; the hosting provider and its authorized service personnel have access as needed for their role under the provider’s service and data-processing terms.
No advertising recipient is integrated into the website. Opening an external link takes you to another provider, which receives the technical information needed for your visit under its own privacy practices. Your chosen email or telephone provider also processes communications on its own systems; those systems can be outside Switzerland. OnsiteTech’s mailbox itself remains hosted in Switzerland.
Security
Connections to this website use HTTPS. Administration is restricted, and security checks protect sign-in and content changes. Private website backups support recovery. No internet service can promise absolute security; please do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive files in an initial email.
Your choices and rights
You can ask whether OnsiteTech processes personal data about you, request access or correction, and request deletion or object to processing where the applicable law permits. You can also exercise any applicable right to receive or transfer your data. A proportionate identity check may be needed before personal information is released. If a request cannot be fully met, the reason will be explained.
You can contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) about a data-protection concern. You can change or remove browser preferences through the menu and your browser’s site-data settings.
Scope and updates
This notice covers the website and initial contact. Access to files or systems during an IT assignment needs to be addressed for that specific service. Changes to the website or its processing practices will be reflected in an updated notice with a new date.
